The Secret (The Law of Attraction), Positive Thinking / The Secret

  Netflix describes The Secret thusly: An assembly of writers, philosophers and scientists share the secret which reputedly brought success to Plato, daVinchi, Einstein and other greats.   I was so taken the first time I saw The Secret I was a follower from day one. This DVD really moved me and at the time it was a Godsend.
   Not everyone shares my enthusiasm about it but it unlocked something for me.
   If you were to ask me how to resolve problems I suggest that you pinpoint the cause of the problem, seek out a solution (or solutions) and apply what you think is the best solution. Hopefully a solution that is beneficial to everyone involved, an all win situation, if you please.
   By nature people have been resolving problems since the dawn of time, and most do it without even knowing how they go about it. I know I didn't until I was about 30. Don't get me wrong, I had always been able to resolve problems to some degree but until I looked at it as a three step method, pinpointing the cause, selecting the most logical solution and applying that solution, well it's just a whole lot easier than grasping at straws.
   I saw The Secret for the first time about 3 years ago and it had a huge impact on me. Something clicked and I thought back to times in my life where scenarios in the DVD were similar to situations that I had encountered in the past. That connection had me quaking in my boots. I swear I was a changed person for life after watching The Secret.
   There's a lot to what is presented in the DVD but to touch on the highlights would be to grasp the concept of something called The Law of Attraction. It's so true, what you focus on becomes your reality. Vision boards are a powerful tool too. I've got one and some of what I put up on my vision board comes true, and I'm teetering on something big right now. More on that in the future. And possibly one of the critical thing to glean from The Secret is having a grateful attitude, even when things aren't so great.
   Over the past few years more and more I am thankful and life gets sweeter. I just give thanks as the day passes. I'm grateful for a parking spot up front at the grocery store. I have three Schwinn Stingrays and I think how much I love those bikes and while I take one out for a ride I'm thankful for every minute I'm riding. When I pet my cat...I'm thankful. get the picture.
   The Secret rung so true for me after a while I stopped being a follower and became an apostle. Honest The Secret is my religion, or a part of it anyway.
   One last thing. I do follow what's presented in The Secret and I've added a little something of my own. GIVING! Yep you hear it here first. Giving is the true currency in life here on Earth. When you give it comes back to you tenfold. Quickly I'll tell you a story. A couple of years ago I took a road trip from Portland to Yellowstone then on to Denver and back to Oregon. The morning I left as I was warming up the car I thought to myself "I wish the best for everyone who I pass on the road. Whether they are going in the same direction or the opposite, I wish them the best. Then I thought that should go for every town and city I passed. And those good wishes were for everybody on my round trip journey.
   And you know what? I had the most extraordinary time. At about 99% of the places I parked my car I got the super deluxe close in parking spot. My food seemed to taste better. I'd step up to a geyser and it would go off. I'd have the choice of taking the path most used and took a few short side trips and it was one great experience after another.
   Please take an hour and a half and watch The Secret its a small investment for possibly a huge payoff.

I think what I have to share with you all today could be considered psychic phenomena.
This doesn't have anything to do with 11s necessarily, just something I've been experiencing lately.
OK, here goes. I play a lot of online backgammon and for months now when I'm playing and my turn to roll the dice comes up sometimes I think to myself, " I sure could use a 2-3." And I get it !
Now I'm not going to try to convince you that this happens every time I roll the dice or I'd be in Las Vegas cleaning house, not posting here.
The thing is that just like seeing 11 after the hour repeatedly, there comes a point where it can no longer be considered coincidence because it happens way too frequently. And this is where I am today, playing backgammon.
Two days ago I was playing a game and I was in a bad position and I thought to myself "I need a 4, then a big double." So I rolled the dice and got the 4 that I needed. My opponent rolled and moved then I rolled double 6's ! And that's why I'm writing today. When this happened the other day it was the straw that broke the camels back. I asked for a 4 then a large double and I got it ! This has now happened so many times over the months that it can no longer be considered a coincidence.
Am I psychic? Not in the least, because I have no control over the dice and I probably lose as many games as I win. I only know that sometimes, more than could be considered coincidence, I get what I "think" about. I think this falls into the Law of Attraction.
And to take things a step further, since I've been experiencing this phenomenon for months now, I've noticed this too ! Sometimes when I project a thought, like "I need a 6-1, my next roll is a 5-3. But a roll or two later I get the 6-1 I needed and it is still a valid roll. So, what I'm getting at is that sometimes when you project a thought and you don't get what you wanted or expected, try waiting a moment. Don't give up, don't give in, don't despair and deflect what you desire, just wait a moment. Just give it some time.

   As promised my book Sherpa has hit Amazon.com A paperback costs 12.50 and a Kindle is only 3.99.
   As part of the self publishing deal I got I will receive some paperbacks, hardbound copies and kindles.
   I would be happy to send you a paperback or kindle for free when I get them. ETA 2 weeks.
   One way or another you might like to read about my thoughts. I worked really hard and managed to write 95,000 words in 7 months. It's the best thing I've ever created so I would be forever grateful for a little feedback.
   Sherpa isn't a book about mountaineering but it was written as a trek from advanced base camp to three peaks and back to advanced base camp. The peaks are problem solving, eliminating a certain form of ego that does us no good at this stage of human development and finally something that I call "The Power of Giving." That covers the first 10 chapters and chapter 11 is all about my experiences as an 11er.
   You never know if people are going to laugh at you or admire you for what you've done. I can take whatever comes from Sherpa. I have a feeling that the Universe is very smitten with the idea, after all the Universe was my co-author.
  All I can do is all I have done. My first book Presents of Mind and Sherpa are my contribution to fix what I can while I am here.
I hope that all 11ers read my book because maybe it will trigger something that helps us get a grip on what the is 11 after stuff is all about.

   Ok everybody I'm going to post a new topic and then I'm going to pipe down a bit. There's not a problem or anything, I'm just stuck in write mode and I just can't stop so I need to put myself in rehab. Just kidding! (about the rehab) What I'm not kidding about is bowing out, if I can, for a while. And in the mean time I think I can make good use of my absence.
   I'm going to conduct an experiment that may or may not sort the wheat from the chaff. But we'll see. I think I can prove the difference between the true 11ers and the looky-loos. In time the truth will surface and the evidence will speak for itself. At the very least, it should be interesting.
   I really am stuck in write mode and for some reason I feel compelled to speak up, and it's not like there's a bottleneck or anything, of people who want to chime in! So...........
   In the past I think I've mentioned seeing patterns. I've taken three IQ tests in the past two years and I always score high in pattern recognition. I think it's a trait of all 11ers, AND PROOF OF THAT IS YOU "RECOGNIZED" THAT YOU SAW 11's IN YOUR LIFE! You recognize patterns too! Don't tell me you don't!
   If you have read my past two posts you know where I come from when it refer to religion. I have evolved continuously over the years and I mean no disrespect to any who believe differently than I do. I feel some kind of connection with something that I can't quite put my finger on. Something cosmic. And I don't think I'm at all alone here. I think all 11ers feel the same way, or maybe not, little is ever 100%.
   Here's a pattern and if you're an 11er, you are part of the pattern and you should have no trouble recognizing it. I'm going to tell a story that a lot of people already know, it is a story of a specific organized religion and if I had another example of another similar story of another organized religion I'd include it. I'm not being one sided or anything, not making comparisons nor am I making any connection with any religion. Just telling a story.
   When baby Jesus Christ was born, didn't three wise men come from a far away place, and didn't their call come from (I don't quite know how to phrase this) a cosmic place? Guided by a star in the night sky? Please correct me if I am wrong but I think that's pretty much how it goes. They may not have known exactly where they were meant to be but there got there none the less.
   Time and again I've mentioned how we 11ers are just like the people in Close Encounters of The Third Kind. Even though that is a science fiction movie, didn't all of those people who were "aware" of their "Cosmic calling" end up at Devils Tower in Wyoming? They didn't know exactly what drew them there but they found their way there too didn't they?
  One way or another, there was an event that transpired. The three wise men came to pay tribute to who they considered to be the new born king. That was their "event". In Close Encounters the "event' was dropping off and bringing aboard a fresh set of human beings and off into the Universe they went! (Don't forget I called Shotgun)
   And then there's 11phenomenon.com and I can't help thinking this is going to end up as some kind of "event"!
   Each of us has found our own way here, one way or another, and we 11ers are part of a small select group. We hear this "cosmic calling" and it's hard to figure out what it's all about, but I know we can.
   Do you see the pattern in all, three stories? Something's up. Something's brewing, and we are very much a part of it if you are an authentic 11er!
   I am a firm believer of another dimension as I have mentioned before. If I wasn't clear about drawing a line down the middle of the number 11 and how it separates the conscious life of us Earthlings and Source Energy, that's just exactly how I see it. We are in two adjoining dimensions and it's like trying to hear a conversation through a wall. Is it's like that for you too?
   I wonder if we 11ers, conscious of it or not, can for some reason, connect more easily with this thing I like to call Source Energy, and that's why we see 11's all the time. I think there is little or no separation between us and Source Energy, we just can't quite connect, not just yet.
    We are accepting of it, or will grow to.
   But the problem that we all share is: We don't speak it's lingo and it can't speak ours.
   Wait! Let me modify that. We can just barely understand each others lingo! It sends 11's and we pick them up! Don't tell me that isn't how it is!
   I've always believed there is a way to figure anything out so I never really feel any resistance to figuring something out.
   I think I've read the majority of the posts and there are some very intelligent people here. Very intelligent! With some of the ideas I've processed from these posts I keep getting closer to figuring this phenomenon out. But I cannot get all the way there without you! Which is why I've been so vocal about others speaking up.
   After being an 11er for more than three years now and seeing 11 after the hour a couple thousand times you can't tell me this doesn't mean something. It has to. It has to mean something, and the reason we can't figure it out, quite yet, is because we can't  speak the same language as Source Energy. And I'm not making light of that the fact that I think Source Energy is having a difficult time of it as well.
   So where do we go from here? I know this much. The more I concentrate on this phenomenon the more I seem to connect with it. 11's have been so strong with me for the past several weeks that I'm constantly asking "What's up?" and when you ask questions. . .you get answers!
   So I have a question. Do you want to get together and seriously make an effort to figure this phenomenon out?
   I hope so because I feel a real connection with all of my fellow authentic 11ers. (That includes the babes!)
   I feel as though we should all say "Thank you" to Gene for being the gracious administrator that you are, and by the way can I be promoted to something other than "Newbie" Hahahaha! "Padawan Learner" would be nice!

11 Phenomenon Forum / Some thoughts on finding out who we are as 11er's

I started seeing 11 minutes after the hour sometime in 2010 and it has never let up. I'm not much for tattoos but I got the number 11 tattooed on the back of my neck a week ago because 11 and I are so tight. I usually see 11 after, twice a day and my record is eight times in one day. I see 11's in a lot of other places too but I only count the clock connections!
It was only four days ago that it has been a year since 12-21-2012 and even though nothing physical happened I do believe that we entered a new era. Since there were so many 11's connected with that date I can't help feel that we are a special group of people, with a destiny.
If you are an 11er then we are all picking up on some kind of transmission so I think we all share some kind of character or characteristics that make us who we are as a select group. Are you familiar with the song Royals by Lorde? She sings about a group of people who have their own ideals and I think we are a group of people who have our own ideals too.
We might make some headway in identifying who we are if someone compiled some statistics about us, and I am willing to give it a try.
Through 11phenomenon.com contact me with some information that you would like to volunteer about yourself and since I recognize patterns I may be able to sort out some of what we are all about.
In fact since we are all gifted in one way or another please contact me with what you are gifted with, and something in general about your character.
For example if I were to make a statement about myself I would say that my gifts are problem solving, pattern recognition, I'm good with numbers, I have a deep memory and potential for learning new things.
My personal characteristics are that I am harmless, I never set out to do bad things in fact I an just the opposite, I try to do only good to others even if I don't know them/you. I retain certain forms of ego but I have disconnected from other forms of ego that have allowed me to grow and evolve.
