Hello all,
Recently I've been contemplating palindromes (a word, phrase, or sequence that reads the same backwards as forwards, e.g. madam or nurses run). It occurred to me that all the doubles we see are palindromes 11:11, 111, 222, 333, 444.... etc.
This allowed for me to look further into the associations of palindromes and paranormal circumstances.
First item I happened upon was the utilization of the palindrome as a tool to trap a spirit. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expiration_Date_%28novel%29
Second item is the use and creation of the SATOR square. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sator_Square
Third item is the cutting of DNA by using palindromic sequence enzymes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palindromic_sequence
Fourth item is the use of palindromes as protection amulets. http://news.discovery.com/history/archaeology/ancient-amulet-discovered-with-palindrome-inscription-150105.htm
What are everyone's thoughts? Gene?
