Hello Lin,

My apologies for the delayed reply and thank you for reaching out. Also, sorry to hear about your botched surgery on 11/11. My heart goes out to you on that one.

My back surgery did have its own complications, although it did enable me to get back on my feet after 5 months. Fortunately, and rather recently, I have been going through acupuncture therapy which has helped me a lot. You may consider this as an option for your own pain if you haven't already.

Anyhow, you are spot on with your "intuitive" suggestion. As s Pisces, I've always had a heightened sense of people's emotions. I had to learn how to detach without forgoing empathy for my fellow human beings.

Like most Pisces, I am an artist and independent filmmaker. It is during those times that I am in "creative mode", that 11's seem to be everywhere. I saw 3 of those on my digital clocks today alone. I don't believe in coincidence so have ruled that out completely.

Thank you again for sharing your own story and hope you have a full recovery from your pain. I can certainly relate.

About a week ago I saw a license plate, soul 1111. It came at a good time for me to lift my spirits. Car was right in front of me and I saw it just before I was about to turn. Then later in the day saw 1:11 and 11:11 on the clock. Had a barrage of numbers for a couple days.

Wow Lin. So sorry you had to go through all that. Terrible what so many have been through with these hurricanes and now the shooting attack in Vegas. Perilous times.

You are absolutely right about what is new about the number 11 is that it has become a global phenomenon. Along with other repeating numbers, consecutive numbers, patterns... Something really big is happening.

Gene, I would have written sooner but was too busy trying to outrun Hurricane Irma.  I fled from one side of the State to another and then had no gas to go back home.  It was not fun.  No power, no gas....not much food either.  I finally made it back home and now know how Dorothy of the Wizard of Oz felt ....there's no place like home.  Didn't get any 1111's before or after that one but did get a 333 during the storm.  LOL.....dodged a bullet on that one.  Feel bad for all the people who were wiped out by Irma and Maria.  So many people no longer have homes.  Very sad.  I pray for them.

As for the registration plate number in Charlottesville.....hmmm....you are right...the number has appeared during historical events....so now I am thinking it is good and bad......I have had it appear both ways....good and bad....most of the time it seems to be a warning.  Still trying to figure this mystery out.....and so many people say they have seen it for over twenty years....40 years.....so it is nothing new.  What is NEW....it's a global phenomenon........

Watched a new You Tube video you might enjoy....it's called Samadhi....by the same producer of the Inner World Outer World video's .  Maybe some have you have seen it.  Quite good.  Just thought I would pass it on.

Here are some excerpts from chapter 1 of The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale:

In a sense there may be such a thing as “the breaks” in this life, but there is also a spirit and method by which we can control and even determine those breaks.

It is no speculative series of extravagant assertions that I make, for these principles have worked so efficiently over so long a period of time that they are now firmly established as documented and demonstrable truth.

I need not point out that the powerful principles contained herein are not my invention but are given to us by the greatest Teacher who ever lived and who still lives. This book teaches applied Christianity; a simple yet scientific system of practical techniques of successful living that works.

There are various causes of inferiority feelings, and not a few stem from childhood… It is some emotional violence done to us in childhood, or the consequences of certain circumstances, or something we did to ourselves. This malady arises out of the misty past in the dim recesses of our personalities.

The greatest secret for eliminating the inferiority complex, which is another term for deep and profound self-doubt, is to fill your mind to overflowing with faith. Develop a tremendous faith in God and that will give you a humble yet soundly realistic faith in yourself.

The acquiring of dynamic faith is accomplished by prayer, lots of prayer, by reading and mentally absorbing the Bible and by practicing its faith techniques…

According to your faith be it unto you – Matthew 9:29. So the bigger your problem, the bigger your prayer should be.

If your mind is obsessed by thoughts of insecurity and inadequacy, it is, of course, due to the fact that such ideas have dominated your thinking over a long period of time. Another and more positive pattern of ideas must be given the mind, and that is accomplished by repetitive suggestion or confidence ideas. In the busy activities of daily existence thought disciplining is required if you are to re-educate the mind and make of it a power-producing plant.

If in our thoughts we constantly fix attention upon sinister expectations of dire events that might happen, the result will be constantly to feel insecure. And what is even more serious is the tendency to create, by the power of thought, the very condition we fear.

…Everywhere you encounter people who are inwardly afraid, who shrink from life, who suffer from a deep sense of inadequacy and insecurity, who doubt their own powers. Deep within themselves they mistrust their ability to meet responsibilities or to grasp opportunities. Always they are beset by the vague and sinister fear that something is not going to be quite right. They do not believe that they have it in them to be what they want to be, and so they try to make themselves content with something less than that of which they are capable. Thousands up thousands go crawling through life on their hands and knees, defeated and afraid. And in most cases such frustration of power is unnecessary.

The blows of life, the accumulation of difficulties, the multiplication of problems tend to sap energy and leave you spent and discouraged. In such a condition the true status of your power is often obscured, and a person yields to a discouragement that is not justified by the facts.

…Any fact facing us, however difficult, even seemingly hopeless, is not so important as our attitude toward that fact… You may permit a fact to overwhelm you mentally before you start to deal with it actually.

It seems pretty evident from reading the Power of Positive Thinking that much of what follows it in the realm of self-help and motivation can be traced to Norman Vincent Peale's book.

Lin, I did not know that about the license plate. Just did a search and there it is. I'll put a photo of the license plate. It definitely grabs your attention. I won't post the full photo, but this is a close-up of that. It seems for most part the vast majority of things 11 is positive. But there are a lot of historic events surrounding the number 11. Some good. Some bad. I guess there is no shortage of ways it gets our attention.

I hear that. And its even worse when your attitude isn't positive to start off with. Lol.

Hi 11er's,

I have some interesting news to share with you.  I recently looked at CNN's " Week in 27 photos" and saw a disturbing photo I would like to share with you.  The very first photo was a picture of the car ramming into the crowd in Charlottesville, Virginia.  Of course it was disturbing to look at.  I enlarged the photo on my screen and what I saw sent chills down my spine.  The vehicle registration was..... .....CVF 1111.   I have always equated " good". " divine" with this number....up until now that is.  Today, I was thinking about the world situation (as I waited for the eclipse to happen). I was thinking about North Korea....concerned about their insanity.   I happened to glance at the time on my iPad.  It was 11:11.  Ok....I will try to ignore that one.

One and One ....in response to your question about 44 .....I checked the book and copied the passage..

."Tesla died in room 3327 of a New York hotel, 6 short of a 3333. 4 × 3s. I was in room 4D of the convent. D is the 4th letter of the alphabet and therefore 4D is 44, the number of safety and security. I did feel safe and secure but it wasn’t easy adapting to communal life in the convent, especially as we were a disparate group of souls without a common purpose or aim, unlike a spiritual community with a joint vision."   HIlary Carter

So this is the author Hilary Carters view of 44 in her book Number Woman.   The number 4 squared offers safety....all four sides on a square.....for me, 444 are my angels protecting me. 

11'er Steve, always good to hear from you my friend.  I am still getting 8:11.  Not surprised you are still getting 11 after the hour.

Gene, interesting take on the power of positive thinking but I have to tell you that I often wake up in the morning with a positive attitude and try to remain that way.  But every now and then someone craps on my parade and I sure didn't ask for it or, attract it for that matter.  In fact, there are days when I am just fed up with the human race....positive attitude and all!  LOL

Katen11.....what you are feeling is normal....go with the flow......don't fight it or it will destroy you.  You are changing....ascending.....many people are not.....they will be different in every way....just accept it.....

Just as an FYI.....I just read that the number 44 in numerology is the "safety and security" number.  (Source is:  The Number Woman by Hillary Carter).  I know you were seeing a lot of that number so I thought I would pass this info on.

Hello everyone. Thanks for letting me be part of the 11ners. I'm glad that there others out there who experience the same phenomenon. I've been seeing a lot of 11:11 and combination of 1s for over a year and more recently the numbers show up more frequently throughout my day. I'm at the phase in my life where there could be a big transition in my relationship. I've been married to my husband for 4 years and have been in a relationship for 7 years. I have a 2 year old son. Since my son was born, I've begun to lose connection with my husband. I've found that we have very little in common and I cannot share my feelings with him. I have also experienced or discovered this spiritual path that I'm on. I feel disconnected from the social norm in general. I've lost interests in things that would normally excite me. I feel like I need a lot of alone time and solitude to feel grounded. I feel that my husband and I are from different planes. We've stoped talking for 6 months and I finally told him that I wanted to separate. Now my husband is wanting things to workout. He wants us to see couple counseling. I agreed to it only because I wanted us to try everything first. Deep in my heart, I have the feeling that it wouldn't matter much. The only thing that concern me the most is my son's happiness. I want him to be happy and be loved and not have to feel lacking in anyway. I keep asking God and the universe to give my a sign of what I'm doing is right and the path I'm about to embark is the right one and then I keep seeing the number 11s. I would like to ask for others' opinions in this matter. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I found myself thinking the same way, the solitude, the need to be away from the city & the burgeoning responsibilities. I've actually been noticing this in a lot of my family. A lot of the ones who were spiritual while we were growing up seem very lost now. I tried to separate myself but I find that I do have to stick around to take care of the family, but I can see how confused they are in what is happening in the world around them.
I find that I find myself sitting on the fence more, enjoying the calm and certainty of indecision, always standing on a fork in the road.

I would like to blame it all on the loss of the 'family' orientated communities but the truth is, a lot of us after the turn of the century, i've noticed, have become very selfish as a generalization.
I'd like to share with you a poem from an old Indian poet, its a translation so the wordplay is absent;

I now have the essence but no one to share,
I have seen the people, the family, and I cannot reach them, I'm only able to talk with the essence,
Those who converse with the essence have no prestige in presence of the worldly people,  or the family,
Worldly people bound to their ideas incite oppression in me,
The essence has allowed me to sift through the rough to find the fine,
