Just a thought...
« on: March 01, 2016, 06:25:00 PM »
Hello Everyone

Did you know that rapture is going to happen in the "twinkling of an eye"? Which is 11th of  second.

Hope all is well with all the 11ers around the world.

Ive always wanted to ask this of Rapture believers out of total curiosity

Do you think that the term "Rapture" used in this case is describing people physically ascending or do you think its a term for people ascending spiritually?  Ive always thought it meant the latter.

Not trying to make a religeous debate, i respect everyone's beliefs.  Just always wondered how some people interpret the rapture on a personal level.

Hello,
You know I've always thought of the same thing... I talk to my 7 year old daughter about it and she asked the same questions... I would think spiritually ascending.
Hope all is well with everyone.

I think its a mixture of things. A certain understanding of prophecy based on SDA & Daniel. An interpretation of Revelation where one tries to align the events to a certain pattern (for example chaistic literary structures used in hebrew writing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiastic_structure#Use_in_Hebrew_Bible)

Hello :). This is my 1st time on here.  I believe this is the answer to your question.
“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?””
